Waiting to call Dad around 7 pm to get the final results of the surgery yesterday. When I talked to him yesterday night on a break in the middle of philosophy, he told me that the doctors didn't knock him out! He could hear them as they were operating, which he said was the most terrifying thing he's ever experienced. Can't say as I blame him -- I'd smuck my own head with a baseball bat if I had to do that!!
Sister has something like a 97% average in first semester grade 10. Curious as to why SHE got all the smarts...
Went to the gym today and ran 5k in 25 mins. 8:22 mile time. New Year's resolutions are actually being accomplished this year!!
Reiterating my "no going out on Mondays" rule to include being wingman and judge for girlfriends. 4 AM is NOT an acceptable time to get home on a school night, even if he was that cute when she was drunk... Never. Again.
Taylor Library is very cold in the winter. Note to self: wear a heavier parka next time I decide to study by the window.
