Sorry to hear about the switchup in jobs. Is that going to unfavourably affect your ability to make tuition for this year coming up?
Next year's project sounds so exciting! You'll have to keep me up to date on what you're doing (I promise not to sell your secrets or scoop you!). Next year's roommates, however, don't sound like a winning proposition. They may not be seriously working, but you are and you need to keep your eye on that ball. You've come so far in straightening everything out, don't let them suck you back down the rabbit hole.

Jamie... that's going to be a tough one for sure, but I think that it's great that you're going to do it in his memory, even though it doesn't make you comfortable. That's loyalty and friendship, that's what that is. Yes, you are talking to land and stone and remains, but you are honouring his memory and showing that he's not forgotten.
What's new here? Querying the completed novel and having the stuffing knocked out of my ego with the repetitive form rejections that keep rolling in. Other than that, we did a military oriented one-shot earlier this week that you'd probably like and we're working on the new multichapter. So, not much new really. Working, writing etc. etc. etc.
