:يا عَلِّي، ثَلاثٌ مِنْ أبوَابِ البِر
سَخَاءُ النَفْس
وَطِيبُ الكَلام
وَالصَبْرُ عَلَى الأذَى
النَبِيُ مُحَمَّد -

"O Ali! Three traits are among the gates of Good:
The generosity of the self,
Pleasant utterance, and
Patience with those who harm you."
