After a couple of months of rebuilding my custom 'hood from scratch I've started playing it again. Yay! I still have some relationships to rebuild but I'll do that while I'm playing them. I'm sick of both SimPE and the SimBlender right now and need a little break.
Last night was the first time something NEW happened in New Livelywoods. I opened the lot of my newly graduated pleasure sims and found matching marriage wants... Ummm....LOCKED!
They look pretty pleased, don't they?
Amanda, the bride in red, is one of the former downtownie teens that I sent to Uni to keep Chloe, the one in blue, entertained. Turns out that was a great idea.
After graduation they moved into this shamelessly copied Polly-house on the cliff by the sea. Perfect place to throw an outdoor wedding, no?
Chloe is related to half of the playables in the neighbourhood and their wedding party was the first real party after the rebuild. It was great seeing them together again and my fun meter turned a brilliant shade of emerald green even though the game lagged a bit with that many sims on the lot.
Looks like someone had a want for a relative to get married.
I also have matching locked marriage wants from these two. Wee! (I wish I didn't already know what their children would look like though...*sigh* From a distance I sometimes have a hard time telling them apart.)
Good to see them acting more or less exactly like their old selves :)
The favourite activity was kicky bag...
...which continued well into the night.
That is, until other needs became too pressing...
...and the guests started to leave...
The brides didn't mind though, they had their own issues to deal with.
After an exciting honeymoon...
The usual stuff happened...
...and the first child in gen D was born.
