update worthy?

But what the hell?
It's been at least a month anda half since my last update. Which, looking back wasn't even a 'real' update, so I fail.

It's the middle of March which means:
-Choral festival is over (we got all ones...as did the rest of the county so... woohoo, I guess? We go to states next month)
-Into the Woods is over and I couldn't have asked for anything better from those kids. I was (and am) so very proud of each and every one of them. I truly enjoyed working on the project, and would do so again in a heartbeat. :)
-All-State is over and it wasn't as fun as last year. The director was from Michigan State and known world-wide. He has his own dvd on how to sing. He def. worked us like...most of us have never been worked, and I think we sounded decent by the end. Although...I'll never know for sure what he thought. It was nice having La there this year though. Even though I didn't see her so much. The ladies chorus was amazing, as per usual. Their director seemed more fun. I was jealous.
-The Mattress Cast is under pressure to put on a decent show in...three weeks? Yeah, that's about right. It's coming. s l o w l y . . .
-American Idol is well under way and I've had an absolute blast with my faithful group of fans at least twice every week. You guys keep me going. Or mayhaps its the endless supply of Fanta and a 48inch tv screen. Heeey, I'll take what I can get. ;-)
-It's third quarter and I'm motivated to do...absolutely as little as possible. This usually results in nothing, which sounds great when compared to last semester, but makes it reeeeeeal hard to haul it out of bed at 6:42 five days a week.
...so today I chose not to. :o) I stayed in bed till 9ish (lame, I know) but I had to get up and do laundry for alas I was out of non-week-old clothes. La came and got me at 11 and we lunchied at Olive Garden then watched Flight Plan. Bit disappointed in Jodie Foster, I must admit. It was a generally good movie- it held my attention, didn't scare me (much), and even made me laugh. Hated the ending though. I say C+. Went with La to the mall for dinner then came home, kicked her ass in pool and chilled out with Sim for awhile. It was a good day for me. ...you don't even know, actually. :-D

I'm generally comfortable with me now. I guess everyone else is, too. Or at least it's getting there. If not... that's their problem.

To sum it up:
I miss my sister.
My best friend is...just that. Plain and simple. (..but so much more..)
Kevo, Christopher, Matty, Lauren, and Sim-Sim rock my world.
Mom's pretty cool, in general.
I still can't fucking drive legally.
And I re-fell in love with Rockapella.

Peace.
