WHAT! :D
Um, so..weird things happened to me this weekend!! GOOD and wonderful things!!
First of all, the research thingie was cancelled. I, being very upset at it being cancelled after much planning, taking time off work, preparation, and overall irritability (esp. towards Joshua...), did not take it well. The most important loss being the $1200.00 stipend.
My car went into the shop on Friday, because I was planning on going to this said research study. Which 1.) Meant I was carless, and 2.) Meant how in the HECK am I going to pay for my car to get fixed now that I don't have moolah???
Hence much of my despair last week...
Well, the people that I babysit for wrote the car company a big fat check for my car to get fixed!! And they said, "Well, it benefits us because it means we'll have a guaranteed babysitter for like the next 8 months" :D. Haha. They don't want a contract of payment/babysitting, and the reason is because they want my yes to be yes, and my no to be no...and if I were to jip them, I'd be losing out on my favorite kiddo!! Lol. Wow.
Talk about God providing!!!!!!
Also, I thought I was going to have a very lonely evening on Friday...roommate gone, and I wanted space from the bf...no car. However, I got the pleasure of hangin with Kori and Mike (and his funny friend Rachel who looks a LOT like Heidi Essay btw lol!), and saw I am Legend!! :)
My car got fixed, God provided, and I was able to see some friends and not dwell in my own self-pity, lol.
On a side note, Josh and I had about a 3 hour talk about all the crap that's been brewing inside of me (that sounds really gross, lol...I mean figuratively!!), what bothers me, what I can't stand, what's been bothering him...etc. I'd need a long time to type out all we talked about, but in the least I can say that it helped me to have a little bit of faith in him again...and I assume A LOT. A LOT...I felt like a total dumbass.
Anyways, I'm going to take a deep breath, and start this new week differently.
