Hope everyone is having a great Halloween! I went to a Mae concert last night (who also played with Deas Vail and Jenny Owen Youngs). It was a lot of fun, I'll probably post a more detailed review of it later (once I get my pictures developed - I lost my digital camera, but I just bought a disposable to use for the concert so hopefully I got a few good photos anyway). Speaking of Mae, they're trying to get votes to help raise money to fund a program called Donors Choose that lets teachers in schools receive supplies they need. All you have to do is sign up and vote here by tonight (it only takes a minute). It's part of a larger mission they're doing that I talked a little more about in this post.
