You can spend your entire life being the person that is always there for others, the person that saves the day, the person that never lets anyone down, the person to who no problem is too small to care about, and no problem is ever too big to deal with, but in truth, the moments that mean the most to people, the times when your there more then you should ever be, you so often don't even realize it. I think that's a beautiful irony in life, a beautiful irony that I very much so got reminded about this weekend. I forget how exactly the saying goes, but the general message of it is "never question time spent with others, as to them it may mean the world". You can never be inside someone else's head, so you can never really understand what something can mean to someone, but you should never second-guess yourself into thinking that "it was nothing special" because the truth of the matter is, you'll never know.
