how quickly i was reminded
"didn't you date christy?". "christy who?", i asked. Hollie said back, "christy denail". yes i did. she was my first girlfriend. she was a senior in high school and i was a sophomore. i knew nothing about having a girlfriend or relationships. i just knew she was my best friend and it was all very innocent to me. it was the way i wish every relationship to be. the kind where your significant other is your best friend. she brok eup w/ me after we went to see a play one night. she was taking me home. i never understood why at the time but i get it now i think. it very well could have been immaturity or what she really told me. and what she told me was that she was dealing w/ something hard. her best friend moving away. it was a bad deal. the next few years for her was rough so it was best. i have no idea what or where she is now. i could be wrong but i believe she became a lesbian.
