The Thursday before Judgement

Tomorrow a good portion of my future will be decided.

I've gone through all the usual measures, but instead of apprehensive, I find myself strangely accepting. Whatever happens, happens.

Its too early for me to write too much, the good ol brain isn't working right just yet.

I miss home, I miss Em and my sisters, and my mom, and my dad to a lesser extent. Although his drinking is getting out of hand again. It worries me, especially with his liver and all.

My class is going really well, although I'm still an unemployed bum. I'd better get on that eh? Goooooo me!

Playing through the Dark Crusade, the race I'm using now is known as the Tau. While they're slightly Gundam-ish, they have a really unique style thats fun to watch and listen to. Games Workshop opted to give them all slight asain accents, which goes against the entire line of brits they used for everyone else. Their unwavering belief in The Greater Good is as refreshing as it is interesting. An excerpt of Shaos'is' converstion with Governer-Militant Alexander Swan during The Siege of Victory Bay;

Shaos'is: Humans, lay down your arms, if not for you, then for the Greater Good!

Alexander: Never alien scum! The Emperor is with us, our faith in him holds true.

Shaos'is: Do the lives of your men really mean so little to you? Are you that mad?!

Alexander: Do the lives of your men really mean so much to you? Are you that weak?!

Compelling stuff. I love the Warhammer universe.
