Every time I think I've got things working something else breaks. >_<
Yeah, that's not supposed to happen; Hadvar was off of his horse and the cart wouldn't move. They're both looking at me like 'WHAT DID YOU DO?!' I DON'T KNOW! 🤣 Actually I think I do know what happened--the quest priority I made was probably messing with his AI. So I had to start a new game without my mod enabled at first and then it worked as normal.
I'm on the last part of it now, testing in a new game again. I might have to use some console commands to get it to go in my in-progress game, but that's ok.
So apparently him talking to other soldiers is not part of the mod I thought it was; it must be a Special Edition thing. I should have realized that in my civil war episode because I heard some of the different lines and it was before I got the other follower mod. But then he started talking to Stormcloaks too. Uhh, wut?? Then once he said the "I'm still sore where I took that arrow; I hate archers!" line. My character being an archer, I've accidentally hit him so many times. D: OH GODS I'M SO SORRY PLEASE DON'T HATE ME 😭 What's funny about that is he has his own bow that he uses too, and I gave him a better one that I found. Nah, he was just talking about the Stormcloaks. Then we fast traveled to Riverwood to test the one scene, but the Miraak cultists were there and BOTH Alvor and Sigrid died in the fight; I hate the cultists so much. I might have to make Alvor and Sigrid essential, but I can do that with either console commands or Creation Kit.
At least all the bugs and glitches are entertaining. 😂
