(no subject)
This is so fucking stupid. How can I make it more clear and make people understand that I don't have cakes and items available for immediate pickup, without sounding like an asshole?? On all of my pages I put 5-7 days' notice required for all orders, advance orders only, NO LAST MINUTE ORDERS ACCEPTED. Yet I STILL get people calling looking for something to buy RIGHT NOW all the time!!
So I wrote a post FURTHER explaining why I DON'T DO THAT. And I know people saw it, because analytics. All last week was quiet, save for one or two messages.
Ok. So today I watched a video about oversharing on your FB business page and how we don't need to justify or explain our policies and so on. So I took the post down from Google and FB. I IMMEDIATELY started getting calls again, one not long ago that wanted something immediately again.
I can't fucking win. Sigh. *rips hair out*
Why is it too much to ask for people to READ and plan ahead?? (OK, I know planning ahead is a little more difficult right now with Covid and all, but still.) And I think some people think oh, she'll make an exception for me! No, I will not! You are not special! Fuck!!
OK, rant over. On that note, it's still bizarre to think of myself as a business owner. Even though I've been doing this for going on two years now. I think I have a little bit of imposter syndrome going on, heh.
