Long time...no update
Life with out internet sucks. I say it all the time but it needs to be said again. SUCKS!
Derek and I are in Stuttgart singing with Helmuth. It's been a good week so far. Started snowing yesterday afternoon and hasn't stopped since. It's lovely. I miss snow.
So things are shapping up. When we get back from Stuttgart next week we will immediately turn around and go to Paris for 4 days. Can't wait. Then it's back to Stuttgart in two weeks for Bachwoche. That will be a blast. Jimmy will be here as well as our good friend Theresa from OBF. Then a week and it's off to Berlin for the Fulbright convention. A whole week with friends from Kiel. Then just two more weeks and my fam will be here. We are taking them to munich for two days and then giving them a once over of Koln. Then I go home. HOME! Back to the USA. Back to burgers and mint chocolate chip icecream and non smoking resturants!!!!!! Finally some prenatal visits and perhaps my first glimps of this little monster inside of me. I can't wait.
The down side would have been three months away from Derek but he has decided to come home early. Helmuth offered him a place in the Italy tour in April and he figured that was a good way to round of the year. Plus we both realized there was no way we would make it three months without eachother. We can barely make it two weeks. So YEA! Life is really good right now.
I'm starting to feel better as my first trimester rounds out. Morning sicknes is waning. I still get really sick if I don't keep a full belly and I'm still really moody. But I haven't cried in almost a week which is good! Hopefully that means my hormones are evening out a bit as well. I'm going to find a Dr. when we are back in Koln for at least one visit. I just want to hear a heartbeat and have someone with a degree tell me that everything looks good.
