(no subject)
One more week until we leave for Oregon. This time next week I will be in the air (or sitting in Minneapolis/St Paul waiting for my connection). SO EXCITED!
We took Bella to Kaji's on Friday. She behaved like a princess. Didn't really get to interact with the cat because he stayed up in the loft the whole time but that showed us that he could go up in the loft if he wants to get away from Bella which is good. Plus I know she'll be fine. After a week she'll hardly notice he's there. So she's all set for her move to a new home. It's actually quite sad. I can't believe that I'm going to have to give my girl up in a week. I don't think I can stand it. Yesterday, we were watching an old episode of Lost (the one where they launch the raft). As they were leaving, Walt was screaming, "BYE VINCENT" to the dog and the dog stated running after the raft into the ocean and swimming towards them. I was BAWLING! I mean, I was a hot mess for about 30 minutes. I can just see me this weekend when we take her to Kaji's and leave her! I'm going to need a tranquilizer.
Saturday we went to Kohl's and bought new luggage! It's so lovely. Plus we got an amazing deal. Top of the line Samsonite for 50% off. We got four pieces for just over $500. We named them all. I can't wait to pack them up!
So yeah. Just one more week of life as I know it and then everything is going to change. By the time we get back Natasha will have started. I'll spend two weeks training her. We go see Wicked two days after we get back. The Stephen's show is that weekend. Then I'll be done with work and off to packing things up for the move...
