Last night we had an amazing wine and pizza dinner at a delightful winery in Prosser. After swimming and driving around town a bit, we changed our plans and decided to spend today in Leavenworth, a Bavarian-style community. We went to 2 of our favorite wineries, Snoqualmie and Hogue, then drove to Leavenworth. The views along the the route were amazing, for a while we were in the desert region with these sweeping hills and vistas, then back in farmland at Ellensburg, then the majestic pine-covered trees and mountains leading to Leavenworth.
It's a tourist town for sure, but still we had a great time. Had some good German food, and the views...wow!!
