"Brave"
See that red-headed chick to the right?
Yeah, her, she is Disney’s newest kick-butt princess from the new movie “Brave”. If you do not know this already, my condolences.
I cannot wait to see that movie, it comes out this summer. On a news website I saw a thumbnail about it that read, “Disney’s first feminist,” or something like that (I didn’t read the article), and admittedly, the idea made me a little skeptical. I just had this terrible image in my head of bra burning and man hating.
But then Disney sent me an e-mail featuring the new trailer. I get their newsletters which is odd because I do not remember signing up for them. I watched it, and it looked so awesome and hilarious. I didn’t know a young girl wanting to choose her own path in life made her “feminist”.
Also, I find Celtic culture very interesting. Oh, and speaking of Celtic, Craig Ferguson is in it. I knew he would be with all of the Scottish accents. I just had to Google it to make sure. I am now doubly excited! I love him.
And now I cannot wait. Maybe I am a wee bit jealous though because I did not think of this first. :D
