(no subject)
This week and actually last week too have been pretty fantastic. Life's been pretty fantastic overall. I guess to recap:
JR Prom was Saturday. Much better than expected. Emily's house was fun and being a chauffeur for the night was interesting. Kind of felt bad about all the thefts and the fact that Joe's card wouldn't start, but all-in-all, good night.
Sunday I was supposed to meet up with Meredith, my friend from Newfoundland. But of course that didn't work because the whole plan was too good to be true. Next time, I guess.
Been talking to some people I haven't spoken to in a while. I love reuniting.
The other night was the Spring Concert for Orchestra, Fiddle Club, and Chamber. I think it went very well, and we sounded much better than we had been sounding. Definitely glad a lot of people came out to watch. :) Good support guys. Now I can't wait till the Band/Chorus concert. But then that also means, one step closer to no more seniors :(
I think I've changed to be a different person than I was last year. Can't really decide if that's a good thing or not, but it kind of seems to be?
I've realized throughout my life, that it's really not worth it to be shy or timid or introverted. I used to be a really shy person in elementary school, the nice, quiet girl in the classroom, but I think by around 7th grade I realized, okay this is kind of boring. Haha I know that's a really lame conclusion, but I see people like this every day. And it just makes me kind of sad because I've realized it's simply not worth it. Live life to the fullest, they always say. If you can't be outgoing and crazy around people you know and love, or even around people you don't really know, then how can you be enjoying yourself? I think there's a little bit of craziness deep down there inside of everyone, some people just need to dig down a little deeper than others. Yep, that's my grand philosophical moment for the day.
So it's Memorial Day weekend, people. 4 dayssss. Basically all I've done so far is work and hang out a little. I think someone should come to the beach with me today. Yep, that's what I think. :)
