Juliet watched Sawyer maneuver his top hat around the board before finally stopping on one of her properties. “With the hotel, that’ll be $750,” she said, checking her card.
“$750? That’s robbery. Oh, Blondie, I need my $200 for passing ‘Go’,” Sawyer said, holding out his hand.
Rolling her eyes, Juliet counted out the money and passed it to him. “Why do I always agree to be banker?”
“I didn’t think you had much of a choice,’ Miles replied, smirking at her. “Jim’ll cheat us out of our money, Jin here still doesn’t speak English and I can’t be bothered. Isn’t it my roll?”
