"Friends" and not-"friends"

Mar 26, 2009 00:29

Hey guys! Public post time.

I've done some more friends-list spring cleaning. Please please PLEASE don't be offended if you have been removed, and please consider the following possible reasons:

1. The main reason is that LJ is my main vent spot, and I write a lot of very personal things here. Things that I would really like to keep to my closest friends. So, to those people I've removed: I do still love you dearly, I still consider you a friend, and I love reading your journals, and I think you're awesome! It's just that I have connections with most of you on other places - Facebook, Twitter, etc. - and I feel like I need to be careful who reads these, my most open of thoughts. Please forgive me. I wish I could "follow" you on LJ or there was some easier way, but LJ is retarded. lol.

2. Another possible additional reason is that I post a lot of crap I possibly don't think you'd really be interested in. It's like on Facebook where I add a lot of people to my Limited Profile list, not because I wanna hide stuff from them, but because I update my status a LOT and don't want to annoy them!! :P

3. You don't post much anymore, and may have even abandoned your journal.

ALSO:

I've noticed I have been friended by quite a few people who I haven't friended back, and I really have very little idea who most of these people are! For the above reasons, I don't like your chances of being added, but, feel free to introduce yourself now, and I might be able to add you on some other site or something :) Anyway, do say hello!

Love to all!
