The First Day, and Second
After two days of sitting in front of the Home Depot computer for so-called "Web-Based Training", I was given my apron and shoved to the open sea known as "the floor". My co-workers are generally nice and helpful. Some are even cute! So far, I have not met an exceedingly annoying customer yet. My job is nothing short of manual labor, but at least it doesn't involve actually thinking (or caring, for that matter). But overall, I really can't complain.
I'm also gonna start training tomorrow at the Children's Photo Studio taking little brats' portraits. Yup, two jobs. I'm hoping I can handle that. Well, everytime I feel discouraged, I just keep thinking that the sooner I save up enough money, the sooner I can go home. Easy enough, yes? I hope so.
I might stay here longer and save more, and maybe return by the 2nd sem in October. I'm counting the days 'til it's three months. Like a bad relationship.
