Most of my time off for pretty much the whole month involved doing something or another, if only because there was so much going on this month.
I have been wrapping lumpia, just because it's a great holiday treat for Noche Buena, It's not really difficult, just tedious, and I still get to watched Netflix while wrapping, so that helps too. We are celebrating not only with Tito Mayo and Ate LJ, but also with Kuya Noel and his family, who visited this week.
Christmas Eve was our least hectic day; Silvain and I went bar hopping and got pretty tipsy with local beer and treats (our theme for this Christmas was everything local). But as soon as Kuya Noel and his family dropped by on Christmas day, everything got pretty hectic. We showed them around, and we all went shopping at the Outlet store in Tulalip on Monday, and had the buffet lunch over there as well. And yesterday, I drove them around Seattle and Bellevue. Too bad it was rainy so they didn't get to see much. Today they are leaving for Vancouver though. Wish I could go, but unfortunately I have work.
Any spare time in between these activities is spent packing our stuff up. We signed our lease to our new apartment last week and are moving later this week. I won't have to leave the Queen Anne apartment until end of January, but we will start moving the big stuff (the couch, the study table, etc) this week already, and just gradually move in. Once we finish moving in, I can finally relax.
One last thing: applying for college. The Art Institutes thing did not work out (too expensive), so I am looking into the University of Washington, or maybe even Community College.
