Hangover

I guess the past couple of months of wanton debauchery had to come to an end. The meager savings I earned from my couple of months in Chicago are almost gone. The hangover begins.

With Dad not supporting me and Mom too busy with her own problems, I realized that I will not be able to survive with just my part-time job at Mentorsplus. Thus I started looking for a real job. Around the same time, Chantel started looking for a job as well.

My one and only lead was APAC, which Kay applied for last year but didn't push through with it. It sounded like a good choice; it was in the heart of Araneta Center, Cubao, and is a jeepney ride away, so I decided to apply for it. I got accepted immediately, so I had to do the paperwork, NBI clearance, etc. I also had to give my two-weeks' notice to Sir Aldo and the rest of the Mentorsplus team...

I am starting to work in a couple of days. This is all for the best and for my own stability. God knows I need stability. Why do I feel so shakey now, then?

manila, alcohol, family, dayjobs, depression
