I actually heard a guy say that this morning. The T was just pulling out. I didn't really care, but he'd been running for it and was pretty upset, as evidenced by the fact that he yelled "Curse this day!" I think he might've actually shaken his fist at the train, too.
Then, as we both settled down onto the benches to wait, he whispered-sighed, "Curse this day," and I have to tell you, my heart went out to the guy. I just saw it as an opportunity to read my book (The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie) for a bit, but he was obviously not having a good day. He had one arm in a sling, for one thing. And I think it was that arm he shook at the T, which couldn't have felt good.
Ah, well. The perils of public transportation.
