A telemarketer just called me sweetie...
Got a call a few minutes ago. The woman was obviously calling from a room full of other people talking on the phone, so right away I'm not caring about what she has to say. And then she asks if she can speak to the person who orders supplies for the printer. So I say, "No," and hang up, figuring I've done my good deed for the day.
The phone rings again, and it's her again, saying "Sweetie, I'm not trying to sell you anything." I told her I didn't care and hung up again, and she seems to have gotten the hint. We shall see.
Here's hoping it's not the Dean's wife calling from a pay phone or something, I guess.
