Random and not really related to Mushishi, but June 4th is semi-officially the mushi day (because when written "month/day", 6 can be read as mu and 4 as shi). Established in 1988 by the Entomological Society of Japan and Osamu Tezuka?..

I just found out that Anime News Network is offering all of Mushishi for free on the video portion of their site! That makes like the sixth place you can stream it legally in English. It just made me so happy to see it there because it will expose more and more new fans to this masterpiece.
