Disregard the previous post

Argh. My computer, it died on me again. I have a feeling that this will be happening often. Windows XP actually runs at a higher speed than what it's equipped to handle.

Sorry about the false alarm, folks! I talked to my friend (from the previous post) and it turns out that she WAS aware that it was a joke. However, that didn't stop her from being deliberately misleading (and she still hasn't deleted the comment!). I can't exactly demand that she take it down so I'll just have to roll with it.

She's always been a drama queen and rather passive-aggressive but I've long resigned myself to some of the things she does. It's not cool, but I'm surprisingly not too upset. It's not like I know the people she'll be talking to personally, so I should suffer no ill effects. Like being shunned.

On a more positive note, and because it cannot be said enough, I will be living with shadoewhunter and some of our mutual friends come fall 2005! It's an apartment house off campus: 971 square ft, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. The brochure makes it look absolutely gorgeous. And there'll be a swimming pool! Yay, swimming pool! And I'll know how to drive by then. This is going to be so much fun. So a BIG THANKS TO THEM for BEING SO NICE and GIVING ME A PLACE TO STAY!!! (*sarcasm* and here I would insert random superfluous hearts and kisses and OMG I LOVE YOU!, but I'm afraid someone will reject me *sarcasm*) Also, I tend to be more restrained on LJ.

Class in two minutes, so I have to go. Next post will be about my thoughts on some comics I read recently: Countdown to Infinite Crisis, Superman: Red Son, Murder Mysteries, The Killing Joke, Ruse, 1602, Teen Titans: A Kid's Game, Superman: Secret Identity, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and other titles that I have read but can't really recall right now.
