The Flash, Supergirl staging musical crossover! MUSICAL CROSSOVER! FINALLY! GIVE IT TO ME! (Also they're going to include Victor Garber! YAY!)
I just want to see Kara and Barry be all SUNSHINEY AND FUN TOGETHER, SAVING THE WORLD AND SINGING A SONG.
Let's look at who can sing here: Jesse L. Martin, Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Victor Garber, Melissa Benoist, Jeremy Jordan, Laura Benanti (surely the Alura AI can show up to sing?)! It's basically ALREADY a Broadway show. Bring in Music Meister (maybe the CW will give them extra cash and they can cast NPH?) and let the good times roll! I AM EXCITE!

Steven Universe: Kindergarten Kid
That was a cute Road Runner homage that I was kind of meh about. I never found the Road Runner bits all that entertaining so this was not really my cuppa. Still not as bad as the Uncle Grandpa crossover or even The New Lars but just not what I really wanted at this point in the show, after all the recent revelations. I get having a low key comedy episode, and there was some good stuff in there about Steven trying to explain empathy to Peridot, and how the corrupted gems aren't bad, just different and trying to get by in a world not made for them, but they didn't hit it hard enough. Also, I wanted Peridot to poof so she could have a star on her outfit when she reformed! And I was sad she didn't paint a tunnel on the rock. I am just saying. If you're gonna go Looney Tunes, go big!

We're having a heat and humidity wave, and even the thunderstorms haven't cleared any of it out, so what even was the point of my getting soaked on the way home yesterday if it's just as soupy and gross out today? I don't mind getting wet, but it made my sandals all squishy and slippery, which makes them hard to walk in. Sigh.
My weekend is going to be hectic, too: tonight I have my postponed birthday dinner with L (though sadly I can't drink because of the antibiotics - we usually split a bottle of wine); tomorrow, I'm going to Coney Island for pizza at Totonno's and a Cyclones game (it should at least be slightly cooler at the beach?); and Sunday, I'm having tea with my sister and my niece out in Port Jefferson, since they weren't able to do it while I was staying at Dom's. So I'll be spending a good portion of my weekend on trains. It'll be fun though.
