I feel like anything I could say about last night's Steven Universe episode would pale in comparison to this tremendous and pun-filled review at the AV Club: Hit the Diamond. The internet tells me that the baseball episode is an anime staple (I know Samurai Champloo had one, but I haven't watched any other anime besides that and Cowboy Bebop) but this made me think of the time in comics Young Justice when the team played aliens for the fate of the earth! or something like that. Details are vague. I just remember an intergalactic baseball game. And also Bugs Bunny did it, of course. *hands*

And now back to work. Sigh.
