i trained myself to give up on the past

Given the mess the LIRR is apparently having this afternoon, I'm glad I came home last night (I'm glad I took today off to do all my Sunday errands and chores), even though they put us on buses from Hicksville to Mineola.

I've mostly caught up on tv now, so in brief:

Brooklyn Nine Nine: Halloween III
OMG BEST EPISODE EVER. ALL HAIL QUEEN AMY SANTIAGO. ♥♥♥♥♥ There was nothing I didn't love about this episode. Everything was sheer hilarious genius.

The Flash: Family of Rogues
I enjoyed this tremendously. Wentworth Miller is killing it as Captain Cold and this time around I really liked Lisa Snart, as well. I'm also amused that Cisco's the one getting the Catwoman-esque girlfriend.

iZombie: Real Dead Housewife of Seattle
I enjoyed Liv as a lady-who-lunches, and especially all of Steven Weber's diabolical insouciance, plus, Peyton is back! Yay! Liv needs a close friend, and the show is obviously not giving Ravi enough to do in that department. Sigh. I also need for Clive to be let in on the secret sooner rather than later.

Arrow: Restoration
ORIGINAL TEAM ARROW ON THE CASE! Dig and Ollie making up! NYSSA! Malcolm Merlyn being the best at being the WORST DAD EVER. (So will Sara be out for Thea or out for Malcolm, if Malcolm's telling the truth and the pit makes a person a murder vampire? [Which would explain SO MUCH about Jason's characterization.] Is that why she'll have to leave with Rip Hunter?) Papa Argent being hot as some kind of weird Gambit knock-off! MR. TERRIFIC IN THE HOUSE. And I guess Ray is messing with Felicity's phone, but I still don't care about him that much.

Jane the Virgin: Chapter Twenty-Four
I think the thing I love most about this show is how it can be so over the top (Sin Rostro, Petra, Rogelio) and then give us an amazingly heartfelt scene like the ending of this episode, with Jane, Xio, and Alba crying over Alba's decision to apply for a green card. Oh my heart.

Star Wars Rebels: Relics of the Old Republic
REX AND AHSOKA HUGGED. THAT'S ALL I WANTED. PLEASE DON'T DIE.* Ugh, I'm going to cry when Rex finds out what really happened to Anakin.

*I feel like there's a loophole they can slip Ahsoka through, because she never technically became a Jedi knight, so Luke can still be the last/first Jedi. I just don't want her to die okay.

All I have left is two episodes of Sleepy Hollow, but I might wait til next weekend for that. And tonight, Supergirl! I have not watched the leaked version of the pilot, so I'm excited.
