Planet Hulk was fantastic! Looking back on it after reading all five issues, it's clearly a dystopian AU (so no happy endings anywhere in sight), and any other ending would have been a disservice to the rest of the story, (unless it was going to become an ongoing and there was fine to deal with the fallout). And the ending, tbh, said some really interesting things about Steve and Bucky's relationship, and Bucky's influence on Steve's life. IDK about other people, but I'm going to buy the trade when it comes out.

Interesting. Even the non-fannish reviews I've read didn't like the ending. Maybe I'll give it a shot if it appears on Marvel Unlimited.
