the odds-on favorite for superior performance
+ I posted an excerpt of that DCU/MCU wip yesterday and laughed about it ever getting finished, but then last night I wrote nearly 2500 new words on it when I was meant to be writing something else. No one is more surprised than I am. Oh, Jason.
+ I said this on tumblr last night, but someone should vid Matt/Claire to Come Undone by Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan. Actually, like, all Daredevil vids should be set to Mark Lanegan. His voice should be the soundtrack for the show. I'm just saying.
+ The Padawan Lives: The Return of Ahsoka Tano (spoilers for Rebels s2). Holy crap, you guys! I didn't know season 2 was starting this month! ♥AHSOKA♥ I know it's going to break my heart. I don't want her to die! (I still want the AU where she trains Leia.)
Speaking of Darth Vader, last night I dreamt that he--well, Anakin--and Luke were hanging out with Bucky in some sort of "tragic dudes with robot arms" thing. In the dream, there were WWI re-enactors (which, of all the wars to reenact, that seems like a terrible choice. I mean, I don't get the impulse anyway, but WWI was pretty horrifying. Do you just dig trenches and reinforce the barbed wire boundaries? Do people even do WWI reenactments?), but Steve felt Bucky might be too easily triggered, so he ended up on the sidelines and met up with Luke and Anakin. Idek, you guys. And then the dream changed and Steve and Bucky were testifying at a Congressional budget hearing on behalf the VA, because of course the government wanted to cut benefits/funding and Captain America was shaming them into doing the right thing by pointing out how well Bucky's recovery had been going with help from VA counseling recommended by Sam. And Bucky was there dressed in a sharp suit and testifying himself. Someone should totally write that story.
