Oh, the other thing I wanted to mention in my post last night about the Marvel movies is that I hope anybody planning any sort of "superheroes need oversight/to be accountable to someone!" story (re)watches the JLU Cadmus arc, because it's pretty amazing at doing that, though of course it had earlier seasons to plant the seeds and let them grow to

Wasn't that episode of The Flash fantastic? It still needs to iron out a few kinks, but all the right elements to make a great show is there. Barry and Felicity together were adorable as a pair of nerd puppies, although their relationship was sadly constrained by the dictates of their individual narrative path. I actually loved that final scene on the train, because I'm one of those perverse people who like it better when my pairings don't end up together. But man, that kiss made my heart go pitter-patter. Well, there is always the crossover ep! Which I think is coming pretty soon.

Iris needs to be rescued from her storyline, stat. C'mon, Eddie! Go evil! It's your destiny! It can only improve you (and this bland romance Iris is stuck in)!

Best one yet! And not just because of Felicity - in fact I think you could probably have cut her out of it and it STILL would have been really good. Wentworth Miller did a great job as Captain Cold, and I thought the action scenes were well done, and also the Joe-Iris scenes.

I started chanting "KISS KISS KSS! Or at the very least HUG!" when they first said their goodbyes at Star Labs. And then when they actually did on the train I cheered because YESSS. I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM KISS. And I liked that they acknowledged that there was someone perfect for them (EACH OTHER) who wasn't the ones that they had feelings for. THEY CAN BE SO GOOD WITH EACH OTHER. The attraction is definitely there on both sides, like C'MON. Like why can't you find love and happiness and companionship with someone who gets you and likes you and compliments the nerdy side of you? Precious babies, you don't need all that angst in your life, go make some happiness

I KNOW. I mean, I ship Olicity as much as anyone, but I also like it when my faves get to be HAPPY and ugh, Barry and Felicity could make each other SO HAPPY if they let go of the angst and embraced each other.

JOE WEST IS THE BESTEST DAD.

YES. It's so nice to see a hero with a good father figure. I'm not saying Barry doesn't have some daddy issues, but they are not the typical daddy issues, which makes for a nice change.
