they played together in high school growing up
I did end up writing last night, about 1000 words! but I also couldn't sleep, and didn't get to sleep until after 4 am and only then because I gave in and took a Benadryl. And of course I then woke up at 8:30 and was done with sleeping. Ugh. WHY?
Anyway, I see now that I need three more sections to this story so it won't be done as quickly as I'd hoped, but it does feel like it will be done, which is more than I can say for the other wsip that sit forlornly open in Word.
In other news, I went to the Container Store this afternoon and bought bottles and flasks and a couple more pitchers for this whole cordial experiment and then I put together the raspberry and the blueberry-pom, though I didn't use honey for that as I thought I might. Maybe next time, if this one works out. Now I have to wait a couple weeks to see how they all taste. *crosses fingers* Let's hope it's good!
But the Container Store, what a place! And the bottles and pitchers were both cheaper than I'd seen them on Amazon, and I took a cab home to avoid breakage (though the cap on one of the pitchers is broken and I'll have to take it back), so if this works out, half my Christmas shopping is done. and I have some blueberries left so I'll just put them in the lemon cake I plan to make tonight.
I can feel myself starting to flag, though. Hopefully, I make it through The Good Wife, and then I can go to bed.
