I am a delicate flower and I do not like the cold. It was 4°F with a -11°F wind chill when I left this morning. I MUST PROTEST. I am wearing way too many layers and when the wind blows, none of it even matters. Luckily, my commute was pretty easy - the bus pulled up as I got to the stop, and the train pulled in when I hit the platform. Hopefully it will be that way on the ride home, too.
I did stop off and buy flour last night, so I made one hour focaccia for dinner, though I didn't have any parmesan so I used shredded mozzarella, which didn't handle the heat all that well but was still delicious.
If you've never made bread before or have a fear of yeast breads (I did for a long time! 2010 was my year of finally conquering that fear), this is a good recipe to start with, since it doesn't need a long rise and it comes together really quickly (slightly more than an hour from start to finish, but not by much). You just need a cast iron frying pan.

Did anyone else in the NYC area with TWC experience pixelating and the picture blacking out throughout the episode? It was super annoying, though I just imagined Allison and Lydia and/or Scott and Stiles were making out whenever the screen went blank. MAKE IT HAPPEN, SHOW.
I know I'm not the only one who watched Stiles, Allison and Scott going through all the side effects of their NDE and thought, THREEWAY MAKEOUTS WILL SOLVE EVERYTHING. Lydia can come too. OT4!
SO MANY STILINSKI FAMILY FEELS. I am so here for the Sheriff distracting people while Scott and Stiles rifle through their stuff. I mean, let's be real, I really want this show to be Stilinski & Son: Private Investigators. With co-stars Scott and Melissa McCall, because Mama McCall is the biggest bamf in Beacon Hills. "BE YOUR OWN ANCHOR." YES GOOD. NOW GO KICK YOUR EX OUT AND MAKE OUT WITH THE SHERIFF.
Isaac and his creepy stalker ways needs to go far away from Allison. I didn't like him before and I don't like him now, despite his nice scarves and occasionally amusing moments, and the fact that he saved Lydia from an unfortunate arrow-related demise. (I also resent him for surviving when Boyd and Erica did not.)
KATE ARGENT PLEASE COME BACK. YOU WERE THE BEST. Okay, you were a psycho who killed a bunch of people and tortured Derek, but you were the most entertaining thing this show had going for a while. And for a murderous hallucination, you were sure looking FINE.
It was mostly setup, so I guess we'll see where it goes.
