The thing that struck me more about that scene was that Joan *knows* Sherlock is capable of some serious sociopathic behavior -- look at what he did to the guy he thought was Moriarty -- and while Sherlock referred obliquely to it in one scene at the police station, it was like Joan had completely forgotten. Maybe she thinks he's matured past that and was kind of surprised when the behavior happened again. I don't know. Either way, I think they're setting us up for some major sociopathic behavior again once the Mycroft secret is revealed.

I would love for Thea to get involved in all of this as well.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt for Laurel in this ep. I also found Amell's responses to her to be the most connected and reactive that we've seen between them.
