she holds the hand that holds her down

I opened my laptop this morning and kept getting an Internal Server Error 500 when I tried to load Dreamwidth, but downforeveryone kept telling me the site was up! Even though I couldn't get it to work in Firefox or Chrome, and there was nothing on the DW Twitter to indicate the site was actually down. So I closed the laptop and watched the season ( Read more... )

ZOMG indeed! What a terrific finale.

HOLMES AND WATSON ARE A UNIT, A PACKAGE DEAL.

This! Forever and ever. (Great comparison to Mal and Zoe, BTW.)

And they sat there together and watched all the new bees come into the world. Bestest thing ever.

Thanks! Mal and Zoe were the best combination I could think of where I love their canon relationship so much and I really don't care if they have sex or not? If they do, I'm for it, but if they don't, I'm for that too! As long as they're together somehow!

And they sat there together and watched all the new bees come into the world. Bestest thing ever.

I KNOW.. ♥

I was having flashbacks to "Victoria's Secret" the entire time.

I don't know what that is, but okay.

It was the penultimate episode of season one of Due South, where Frasier's love of his life comes back into town and basically sets him up and tries to destroy his life so he'll leave with her. It's got a LOT of parallels, and I kinda want Vecchio and Joan to meet soemday over coffee to kvetch.

I especially loved that at the end when she's like "You're the only person in the world who surprises me," Holmes is like, "BUT ALSO WATSON." BECAUSE YES.

YES! Loved everything about it, especially Irene-as-Moriarty. Just absolutely perfect. For Joan is that kind of badass.

In conclusion: BEES!

This show. This SHOW!! I was not expecting Irene as Moriarty and homg that was the most perfect thing EVER. AND THEN WATSON TAKES HER DOWN. And Holmes names bees after her. Then End.

I was absolutely thinking New York, Neal, and art shenanigans must've been occurring on the side during all the weeks she was there.

Sherlock was SO charming when he was courting her! And he was courting, there's no other word for it. If you were to play clips of him in those flashback side by side to him in the beginning of the season the difference is almost a little painful. She didn't just break him, she almost dehumanized him. (But that part of him was always there, which we catch glimpses of he doesn't air that guy's addiction and offers him the name of his rehab center.)

Btw, I loved LOVED Irene/Moriarty. She's so smooth and efficient and chilling and competent and unrepentant.

I WAS HOPING but I wasn't expecting it, and then it happened. Oh, show, way to exceed expectations! ♥

So many shenanigans! I want to see Peter and Joan meet now, too. And Sherlock must know Mozzie - he's a conspiracy theorist and Sherlock is a conspiracy theorist fanboy! How awesome would that be?

*nod nod*

He can still be charming, yes, but wow, before she broke him, that was something else. So unexpected and yet fitting.
