L and I went for an early dinner at the bar and now I'm just sort of tipsy and watching the red carpet interviews. I enjoy the clothes but the inanity of the interviews mostly makes me cringe. So endless and Macfarlane is SO AWFUL.

It was a very strange evening.

I think the orchestra was too loud for almost all the musical numbers.

The musical parts were pretty fantastic! I loved some of the gowns! But the script and the hosting were pretty terrible.

Shirely Bassey was amazing. And I did like the dancing bits in the beginning with Daniel and Joseph.

Shirley Bassey was great! So was Streisand! And Adele. And I enjoyed JGL and Dan Rad dancing. It was just...everything else.

About Ben, yeah, me too. And as much as I want to pinch Ang Lee's cheeks, Ben deserves that Oscar.

I haven't seen Life of Pi, so I can't really say? But I thought Argo was a really well made movie. It's the only one of the bunch that I saw.
