In other news, there really needs to be an Avengers/HLotS crossover where SHIELD hires Frank Pembleton to train agents in interrogation (Nick Fury knows Pembleton from somewhere, y/y?), and Natasha is just like, "What can some retired cop from Baltimore teach me?" and then Frank and Natasha are AWESOME TOGETHER.
Also, there should be a sniffly Steve/Bucky vid to Tom McRae's Summer of John Wayne. I am just saying.
A summer of John Wayne getting older, reel after reel,
and playing old soldiers with old wounds, you know how that feels.
And a summer of searching the underworld, an arrow in my heel,
and the winding down of days,
and the speeding up of time won't change.
But I know you say nothing good lasts forever.
Some things burn bright, but burn themselves out to embers.
Also, also, I may possibly be trying to figure out how to make movieverse Steve/Peter work, because they are my favorites so why shouldn't they make out? I think it's probably much easier in the comics where Peter totally has a crush on Steve? But I like the idea of this younger, movieverse Steve with Peter, too, but only if Peter's a few years older. I am thinking about it a lot anyway.
