I loved loved loved the storytelling choices they made. Like, in the first three films, it's all about Jason being completely terrified by his abilities and who he is (and ultimately rejecting it). Whereas with Aaron, it's about not going back to who he was, and doign everything he can to hang onto his abilities and sense of self he gained from the programme. And I love his curiosity and his constant chatter--he's the polar opposite of Jason, who had to have words pried out of him.
OMG I loved the scene in the car where he was all "YOU DON'T EVER KNOW MY NAME???" and I really really wish we'd got the scene in teh trailer where he was all "I'm more than just a science project" and I wish we could have had a scene in the motel before he gives her her new legend, where she actually asks his name and he gives it. Because names mean something in this franchise.
I was sadface that Pam got railroaded, and Noah seemed to come away from Ultimatium unscathed. :(
But OMG MARTA. I love that ALL the ladies in the franchise are amazeballs and step up and make choices, and I loved her just holding him when he was trying to give her an out, and you get the feeling this was the most significant human contact in his life, yet he was willing to let her go. But she was the one holding on.
Also, that tag? yeah, there was ALL THE SEX once the road rash healed. I'm just saying.
