Board meeting went off with a few minor technical glitches that were not my fault, so I am calling it a win, even though ugh, I hate wearing a suit, especially when I have to cart around all the extra packets on the subway because the streets are all closed because of the goddamn UN.

So despite the fact that I stopped watching after JJ left (I was kept abreast of further developments by my parents), I watched the season premiere of Criminal Minds and I'm glad I did. I'm glad JJ and Prentiss are back. I feel like they were trying to get quickly over the rough ground of the mess that they made having JJ and Emily leave, and I am okay with that. I missed my team and I am glad they are back together. The score was a little heavy-handed, but that moment where Garcia and Morgan see her alive for the first time? Oh, my heart. I also really liked Morgan and Garcia getting their detective on in their copious spare time to track down the kid and the dude who killed Prentiss. Also, also, I don't care that it is kind of spurious that Hotch would be in Pakistan because it gave us bearded, casual Hotch and damn, he looked fine. Also, the JJ/Prentiss was off the charts in this episode. Plus, Reid got to shut down that tribunal dude. Oh, snap, sir, you just got told. It's Doctor, not agent. Also, I do like Sloane, so I was glad to see her back and on their side.
I don't think that patriotic blither at the end would have sold anybody on anything, and I'm irritated they went down that road, but whatever. They got the band back together, and that is the part I cared about. Please don't waste this second chance.
