So when should we start expecting to see changes in Delicious now that it's changed hands? Anyone know?

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I really wanted to see Kate's date with Dick but I'd have loved to see a reluctant Jim Gordon being persuaded to have dinner with her even more, possibly for political reasons or by Babs thinking it would be funny. You could ava_jamison's fic for some good Bat/Cat. eta And also this. Tumblr memes are so entertaining my favourite is the Damian is obsessed by cats one, (although that does have a canon basis). Damian and Colin are adorable. I still can't work out if Damian was talking about Dick or Colin when he said that he didn't need any more friends from the Teen Titans as he already had one in Gotham.

And that she called him the Paris Hilton of Gotham, which I think is overly harsh, considering that he did actually go and become a cop for a while

It is harsh, although hilarious and possibly the result he was looking for at the time. I've just had a thought--maybe she calls him that because she's seen some of Babs' tapes--it could be true...

And now I know where your icon comes from. Oh, Damian, so hardcore for a 10yo!

I'd have loved to see a reluctant Jim Gordon being persuaded to have dinner with her even more, possibly for political reasons or by Babs thinking it would be funny.

Yes. I think it'd have been even more hilarious if she did both and Babs was just like "... Don't break my dad's heart with my ex-fiance! I can hurt you!"

my favourite is the Damian is obsessed by cats one, (although that does have a canon basis)

I didn't realize there was canon for that! It must make him so conflicted about Selina.

It is harsh, although hilarious and possibly the result he was looking for at the time.

Heh. Yes. He probably was going for that, but still! I am defensive. (I was also amused that his idea of a disguise to go undercover was slicking down his hair and wearing a gold chain. Still better than a wig and a cheap 'stache, I guess.)

That scene was the moment I fell for Damian as a character. So badass (yet so impractical-how did it not get in his eyes)

In one of the possible futures you get Batman!Damian wandering round the Batcave all alone in the world except for his cat Alfred.

And yet he still looked good doing it! Does Dick really go in for disguises in the same way as Tim and Bruce? He pretty much does stuff to his hair/facial hair and that's about it. It can't be that easy to disguise that much pretty, right? Except of course for the Bruce directed crossdressing.

If it dried quickly, maybe it wasn't drippy? I... can't believe I'm even thinking about this.

Aw. Of all the things to pass on to your son, Bruce, the ~FOREVER ALONE~ thing isn't one you should be striving for.

Does Dick really go in for disguises in the same way as Tim and Bruce?

You'd know better than me, but I don't think so.

It can't be that easy to disguise that much pretty, right?I'm sure with makeup and prosthetics it could be done, but why would you want to? It seems to me that he just goes undercover as himself - that whole stupid mafia arc, and also that one time he married that murder suspect. Possibly he's so good-looking that people are stunned out of remembering details ( ... )

I enjoyed Streets of Gotham a lot, though I agree it got sort of frustrating when certain characters and storylines were dropped. I really loved the art as well.

Also, this might be relevant to your interests: Huntress is getting a five-issue miniseries starting in October!

though there was something not quite right about the texture, possibly because I used Kraft shredded mozzarella instead of fresh?

That could be it; IIRC, Kraft adds a small amount of cornstarch to their shredded cheeses to prevent clumping. Also, if the shredded mozzarella was part-skim, that could make a difference. But it sounds like a great recipe; I've bookmarked it.

So when should we start expecting to see changes in Delicious now that it's changed hands? Anyone know?

I don't know, but I hope it's soon, because I'm getting tired of manually uploading bookmarks to Delicious because no one's bothered to make Delicious add-ons that are compatible with the latest version of Firefox. GRRRRRRR.

Yeah, it had a weird mouth-feel that totally could have been from cornstarch. It was whole milk mozzarella. I never buy the skim kind.

Huh. I thought I saw something about an update for Firefox v5 recently (in the past couple of days or so), but since I don't mind doing it manually, I've never used the Delicious add-on.

The beta version of the Delicious addon works for both Firefox 4 and 5! Or, at least I've had no problems using it/

Oh! My friend gave me Up, Up and Away for my birthday or Christmas or something, and I haven't read it. Glad to hear you liked it. Does it require any prior knowledge?

Does it require any prior knowledge?

Nope. It basically tells you everything you need to know.
