I'm at work, which was probably not a bad idea, since I do feel a lot better than I did, but let me tell you, getting out the door was no picnic (violent coughing fits, boo!) and a nauseating subway ride made me reconsider. Hee! I love baby!Terry a lot, but things I love about teenage Terry include:

1. he has a mom and a little brother, and they're important to him (also, this means that Bruce is not his main provider of emotional support, which makes him a lot better off than most Batkids).

2. for him, Batman is about becoming a better person, not just atoning for his stint in juvie or for fighting with his dad (or not being there when his dad is killed), but about being a good person and trying to make a better world.

3. he has a life and friends outside of Batman, and if we ignore Epilogue (which I do), he manages it way better than Bruce ever did or could.

Wow. It's been a while since I rewatched it.

1. She will do what she thinks is right or necessary whatever the obstacles put in front of her.

2. The snark.

3. She has such a close relationship with her Dad and it survived him falling off the pedestal she had placed him on.

4. She learned the hard way not to care about what other people thought of her and really ran with it.
