i did not know it was love
I watched tonight's Fringe rerun. I almost forgot how much I love watching Olivia shoot people in the head. I can't wait until the new season starts!

So yesterday I was all, "Yay, MTA for having the upcoming trains listed!" and of course, this morning I got down onto the platform, there was a "Schedule not available" message scrolling across the noticeboard. Sigh. Stupid MTA.

Last month, they opened a Shake Shack in my neighborhood. I pass it every night on my walk home from the subway, and my hand to god, nearly every night there's been a line out the door, sometimes halfway down the block. And I'll tell you what, the burgers are good, but they're not wait on a line halfway down the block good. (apparently, sometimes there's an hour wait at the one in Madison Square Park! That is crazy!) Though I guess the day I took Alyssa and Anthony to the one by the museum, we waited on a line that was pretty long. but it was freezing and we were inside the whole time. Anyway. The past couple of nights, the line has been only two or three people, down inside the restaurant, and that's how it was tonight, so I stopped off and got a cheeseburger and fries. It was really good, even if I had to wait ten minutes for it. I didn't get a shake, which I regretted a little, so a little while ago, I made a shake with my homemade chocolate ice cream, some hazelnut gelato I bought, and my immersion blender, and it was so good. I highly recommend it - blend two scoops of ice cream and a cup of milk until smooth. Mmm...
