don't say every chance is lost

Got home a little while ago from a lovely dinner at Sambuca with
bethbethbeth, midnitemaraud_r,
glass_icarus, and
such_heights, who is visiting us from afar. There was a lot of HP talk, which is always fun to revisit (because man, whatever your fandom's got, I'm sure HP's got it bigger and weirder) and it made me all nostalgic for Remus/Sirius.

TRUE LOVE IN A SHACK 4EVA!!!Eleventy!

Here is something superawesome: revolutionaryjo recorded a podfic of A Coke and a Smile, the Danny/Rusty story I wrote for luzdeestrellas for
yuletide last year. ♥

I can't stop listening to Augustine by Vienna Teng. I'm not sure what it's about (St. Augustine? A mission somewhere in the Mojave? Anyone?), but something about it gives me that feeling, that one I can't really articulate, but which some songs just inspire. It's so short that I just keep hitting repeat. Also, I always get a little teary on the line "lead me now / I understand/ faith is both the prison and the open hand" because it makes me think of Dean - and Lisa dealing with him - post-Swan Song.

I feel like there was something else I wanted to link to, but now I can't remember what it was...

Oh, yeah,
swatkat's awesome Fringe pimping post (thanks to
coffeeandink for the link). It's pretty spoiler-free, because Fringe is best experienced that way (let the crack and the skience wash over you!), but it gives you the basic reasons why it's an awesome show you should watch. Mostly because Olivia PWNS ALL and also Pacey. Plus, Astrid and Walter and Charlie and Broyles and Nina Sharp.
