Most of the low points of HLotS seasons 6-7 blur together in a stream of DO NOT WANT, so I can't really name an episode? But definitely the one where Ballard and Falsone are panting after each other and doing gross* suggestive eating of food or whatever. *shudders* (I must admit, it's possible a rewatch of these seasons would make me a little more sympathetic to Ballard, who had potential, and Sheppard, who didn't but who I feel kinda bad for in the aftermath; I will never ever feel anything but loathing for Falsone, though. I still have fiery rage when I think that he's in the Box with Frank and Mikey during Fallen Heroes, as if he's got ANY FUCKING RIGHT TO BE THERE. GRAR!)
(* gross because it's them, and also, I think they're at work or on work time)
From the seasons before the Dullzone invasion, possibly "Dog and Pony Show"? It's kind of a letdown after the tension and high drama of the Adena Watson act. Or maybe "Heart of a Saturday Night," an episode I never did get invested in the way they wanted me to, I think.

I'm pretty disgusted by the Criminal Minds casting spoiler news. I loved the first four seasons, which I watched in a very brief span of time last summer, but this past season was less than stellar, and included a lot of the things that I had been so happy weren't as prevalent in terms of eroticized violence against women in past seasons (not that there wasn't any, but there was less than might be expected from a show about serial killers), and this news that they are planning to
write JJ out altogether and cut back on Prentiss's episodes (and cut her out altogether unless Paget Brewster agrees to terms), so they can bring in a 'fresh' female face (for fresh read "under 30 and likely much more typically tv crime show heroine"), and just...URGH. DO NOT WANT! If they really wanted to shake things up, I can think of better ways to do it than this. But of course that might result in one of the men being cut back or written out, and god forbid we actually have FEWER MENS IN OUR SHOWS.
Bah.

Let's talk a little more about Fringe, which is currently less with the faily. Or rather, let's link to posts where other people convince you to watch it so you can write me fic.
coffeeandink brings us a
beautiful picspam from "Brown Betty," which is the show's noir fantasy musical episode. Speaking of, where is the Olivia/Esther girlslash? There should be some and I would like to read it.
And
beccatoria brings us
an overview with clips (this is somewhat spoilery for some things, but since those might be enticements, I don't think it's necessarily too spoilery for pimping purposes. Also, I like Peter more than she does, mostly because Peter's role is that traditionally given to "the girl," and he's very adept at playing it. As
vonniek puts it, he's very good at not being the alpha male, because we've already got Olivia for that.)
As mentioned before, Olivia is BADASS. And Astrid is a stress baker! Possibly I will have to write fic about Astrid's pie-baking extravaganza. Walter is both monstrous and heartbreaking. Broyles is awesome and I think Peter is kind of adorable, but I am probably still giving him a lot of residual Pacey goodwill.

Lastly, it's a month until my 40th birthday. I think you know what I like (bantery brothers or BFFs (who become lovers! <- this part is optional)! hot thieves in love! crossovers!), but feel free to ask if you want to write me something. All gifts gratefully accepted.
