I was chatting with embroiderama and she said maybe next season will start with Sam coming to get Dean out of his normal life. I don't know why but I'm doubting there will be any rift between them for more than episode

I hope so.
it always feels wrong to me the idea of Dean giving up hunting. A break sure, but giving it up. Never.
Me, too.
I didn't get the sense Kripke broke up with us
Chuck (the writer-god) broke up with Becky (fandom).
Mostly I think Sam might be stupid and not tell him he's back right away because he doesn't want to take it away from Dean. Which would be dumb and wouldn't last long at all.
I love how, in genre shows, the point is always, *always*, that love can triumph over the worst evils. And I love that SPN has chosen to espouse this POV with its traditional and flagrant disregard of its "no chick-flick moments" mandate. :)
Yeah. I mean, we all figured Sam and Dean's Epic Love would have to save the world, but man, I'm so glad they did it. I was really pleased right up until the end. I would have preferred Sam and Dean in hell TOGETHER (with the car, driving their way out!) or Sam and Dean ALIVE TOGETHER. Separating them makes me epically unhappy.
I don't think Dean's enjoying his apple pie life when we see Sam staring into the window. Dean's drinking at the dinner table, and not wine or beer. I just... I want them to be TOGETHER, even if they have significant others and kids and whatever. THEY STILL SHOULD LIVE NEXT DOOR TO EACH OTHER AND GO HUNTING ALL THE TIME. Ahem.
Yeah, I thought they pretty much flat-out said that Dean longs to be dead or busting Sam out but he doesn't neither of those things because he made a promise. I've got nothing against Lisa, but that would be a terrible basis for a relationship. Sam is very much *there* for Dean more than ever!
Exactly. And it's not like he and Lisa actually know each other or are in love with each other. It's all an idealized fantasy. And I say that as someone who totally could ship Dean/Lisa if the show made a case for it.
They better not inflict not!Sam on us. I'm already displeased with certain things. (So Bobby and Castiel get resurrected (again) but Ellen and Jo and Pam all stay dead? Thanks so fucking much, Kripke.)
I'll be fine next season as long as Sam is Sam. Not maybe not 100% Sam. Not Lucifer/Sam not possibly evil Sam. I'll take ghost Sam or brought back by miracle Sam. Heck I'll even settle for brought back by (ugh) Castiel Sam and tolerate Castiel, as long as it is Sam. If I get Lucifer/evil/not really Sam for more than one episode, I am out. Sam got mostly screwed every season, and I want him back, no substitutes. And Dean had better gosh darn well trust him too.

I would prefer that to Sam still being Lucifer.

Because he had too much respect for her. I'm still kind of O_o over that one.

I don't think they'd inflict no-Sam on us. I mean, he's a star of the show! I hope they know that. Like you said, they belong TOGETHER.
I had a beer beforehand too. I think it helped. I cried, but not like giant wracking sobs. Not like some finales.
*sniffles*
