One thing about last night's SPN.
I've seen a couple people say that of course Castiel doesn't admit culpability - he's an angel, not a human, and he didn't have free will, so he was following orders etc. and doesn't even see a need, but 1. I don't give a rat's ass, and 2. Uriel made a choice and was not smited, Anna made a choice and not only was she not smited, but she got her body and (most of?) her powers back. So Castiel is clearly the dumbest angel in the garrison for not working out that, yeah, he could have made a choice to do the right thing earlier, instead of following orders that were coming from what could have been a compromised source (Zachariah), given that his earlier orders per 4.16 had come from a compromised source (Uriel). So yeah, bullshit. He had enough examples in front of him to make the right choice earlier than he did (and apparently was going to in 4.20? maybe?), and the fact that he (and the writers) want to weasel around on that just makes me hate him more. (I think he still needs to apologize to Dean for what he put him through in 4.16, as well.)
I realize I'm not rational on this subject, so don't even try to change my mind.

So I've been thinking about redoing my yuletide nominations, and adding Warlock to my list. I dunno, a story about Redferne having to hang around 1989 LA sounds appealing to me. (someone should write the non-yuletide story of him meeting and hunting with John Winchester. That'd be hilarious.) Is there a way to tell if it's been nominated?
Also, has Joshua Archer been added to the L'Engleverse character list? I don't think he was on it last year, and that made me sad, but then I forgot to check this time around.

I was listening to "Time Bomb" by Jessy Greene and thinking it would make a really good Max/Alec vid. I shall have to add it to my Max/Alec playlist, at any rate.

I do not approve of this weather. Ugh. It's October, not November. We should not be having nor'easters yet. So we didn't get a real summer and now we're not gonna get an Indian summer? Ugh winter. DO NOT WANT.
