and a whole lotta duct tape

There is way too much tv on Thursdays now. I can't let my SPN thoughts coalesce easily. Sigh.

I am not sure how I feel about the fact that on tonight's Bones, Booth was apparently seeing a ghost? Seriously? I mean, this will make my SPN/Bones xover easier, but still, I didn't expect that and am a little meh about it. Also meh about the ladies' dresses for the formal event. Both Brennan and Cam looked kind of ... matronly and that's just wrong. Also, who was that actress who played the Gravedigger? She was really familiar but I didn't catch her name in the credits. It was almost Winchesteresque, how Booth's brother is like, "It's all worth it if you save my brother" as he's getting arrested. I also liked how angry and off the rails Hodgins was about the whole thing. I could have done without the beating the tied up woman and calling her a bitch, though. Even if she was a serial killer who'd tried to kill Brennan, Hodgins and Booth.

Burn Notice: I do enjoy how much Seymour the arms dealer is crushing on Michael, even when Michael is mean to him. And Sam's smirk at 'debriefing'. Hee! And Seymour's relationship advice. Bwah! I also love Fi's glee in her explosives. "I'll pretend you didn't ask that." hee!

Supernatural: Sex and Violins

Okay, so I was spoiled, which means there was absolutely no sense of suspense, which means I was irritated with how easily Dean bought into Nick's charade. I do think it's absolutely hilarious how they have basically canonized wincest in this episode, despite the inclusion of the dude who offed his mom instead of his wife so they could say it wasn't just romantic/sexual relationships, it was any intense/close relationship.

BOY FIGHT! *heart* I love when they beat the crap out of each other. They don't do it near enough. Though I honestly thought Sam wasn't under the influence, and that he was goading Dean to get some of his blood to kill the thing, but then he seemed at the end to also be um, enthralled? I wish Bobby hadn't had to show up and save them. I like my ending better, where Sam takes care of it on his own.

Bobby's bank of phones, otoh, is AWESOME! *hearts*

And I did like them bitching each other out. They need to do that more often, as it's hilarious, and Sam's bitchy little "Boo hoo" was awesome. Perfect younger sibling. I know of which I speak. And all Dean really wants is his little brother to be with him FOREVER AND EVER and trust him and look up to him (and stop hanging out with Ruby). Aw, Dean.

It's hilarious that they did not pick up on the siren's Disney princess name theme (though when the first name was Jasmine, I was like, Oh, I wish they'd got Gina Torres to play a siren for them).

DEAN'S READ HOMER (or at least the classic comix version)! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ (I find it hilarious that everyone else is all WINCEST! and I am all DEAN'S READ HOMER!) "I read." ♥

Hey, Sam slept with a chick who didn't die! And he didn't angst about it. And I liked her a lot. Though honestly, show, "c-block"? Better not to use the term at all than bowdlerize that stupidly.

Oh, boys, please talk to each other! You are hurting me with this - also, that Dean is not trusting Sam, and that Sam is keeping secrets. BOYS! DON'T MAKE ME COME OVER THERE AND KNOCK YOUR HEADS TOGETHER! I mean, I want Dean to have a friend (who isn't Sam) too, but not like that.

I really enjoyed this episode, and I'm sure I will enjoy it more on rewatching. I am sad we're in another hiatus. Sigh.
