If there were only two shows I had time to watch, they would be Supernatural and Pushing Daisies. I love Pushing Daisies. The show is incredibly smart, completely different from anything else on TV right now, and has way more fantastic one-liners than I can ever remember in a single episode.
It really is fantastic. I know some people find it too twee, but I think Emerson cuts through that, and there's always SO MUCH packed into an episode - visual jokes and puns and then they come up with an emotional moment that just *works* and yeah. It's awesome.
Last night's intern on Bones wasn't as bad as some of them have been. At least he was trying to fit in somehow. I pray that after this stupid an unforseen break they they're taking til Nov. will give us a permanent intern.
Cam seems to be a lot more relaxed this season so she's turning out to be somewhat funny.
I've noticed the lack of Angela. And more over the lack of Angela/Brennan interaction. And Hodgins, well I know that Hodgins is still a little crusty from the break up and Zach, which I totally understand, I just miss old Hodgins.
I would never want Booth to be a woman because he's just waaaay to pretty as a man.
Pushing Daisies is seriously like my favorite show right now. It is so made of awesome I can't even think of anything to say about it except "omfgthisshowismadeofawesomeSQUEE!"
Yeah, I was actually disappointed that Private Practice ended up avoiding the question of what could happen with the incest couple long-term. They ended up having the man reveal that he'd looked into it and known before they got married, which made the woman upset and dump him. So the show avoided answering one of the toughest of the questions...
Aw, man, that sucks. I mean, he shouldn't have lied about it! And I wouldn't expect anything different from a tv show on American network tv, but still! Canon hetcest ftw!
Yeah, I guess it's not that surprising, but still: to set all that potentially transgressive stuff up and then just have the easy-out button was a let-down. I pretty much watch for Audra, Taye, and Tim to be pretty, though, so the plot isn't usually my first concern...
Yeah, I guess because it is Shonda, there could have been more actual dealing - I think she's done some not-usually-seen-in-prime-time stuff on Grey's - but I wouldn't have expected it.

According to Mom, that's apparently due to the rest of the month being spent on the World Series. She isn't happy, either, since she loves the show.
