I meant to have fic to post last night, but then the beta of my
spn_summergen story came back. It wasn't pretty. Sigh. So I spent a few hours fixing that. It is now turned in, so I can turn back to "The Calendar Hung Itself," which is at 6720 words, and that's with four months left to write. Oy. I think my iPod wants me to finish this story, though, because this morning it played "Running Up That Hill" (And if I only could, / I'd make a deal with God, / And I'd get him to swap our places), "Time Is Running Out," "One Mississippi" (Can we spin the world on its axis / Can we make the clocks run backwards / Can I only change your history for a day), and then, in the deli, I heard "All Through the Night."
Sadly, I have actual work-related work to do, so writing will have to wait. Sigh.
But I do have
this nifty link to an interview with Tom McRae on youtube that
luzdeestrellas sent me yesterday to brighten my day. Springsteen references! I wonder if that's why "Sound of the City" owns my soul.
Tom! How are you so awesome?
